Getting to the Costa del Sol is very easy thanks to its solid infrastructure of means of transport. The province of Malaga is connected to the rest of Spain and the rest of the countries by air, land and sea. You only have to choose the path that best suits your needs and preferences.
By air: An international airport
Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport is one of the airports with the highest volume of passenger transport in the country and in Spain. Cities such as London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, New York or Moscow have a direct link to Malaga Airport, which is also the main airport and entry point for Andalusia.
By train and road
The train network of the Costa del Sol allows connection by train with other cities in Andalusia and Spain. From Málaga, the nerve center is the Málaga – María Zambrano Train Station (ADIF), which connects the Costa del Sol with Madrid to high speed in 2 and a half hours, Barcelona, Seville, Cordoba and Valencia among others.
The road network of the Costa del Sol, like the railway network, connects with other cities in Andalusia and Spain through highways and motorways. The main highlights are the A-7 and the A-45, very well equipped for the transit of vehicles. Getting there by bus is also very easy, since the Malaga Bus Station connects practically with all the points of Spain and all the municipalities of the province.
The Port of Malaga, the second cruise port in Spain and home to the most important shipping companies in the world, gives access by sea to those who dock or stop in Málaga. The capital of the Costa del Sol is the destination of luxury cruise ships that make their trips through the Mediterranean.
The Port of Málaga connects directly with North Africa, with daily ferries to Melilla.
